Our world-class instructors, who could have qualified as private pilots - three times over - in the time it takes them to train. More than 50 hours pool work; at least 25 assessed lessons; internal and external exams. There’s a lot to do.
And that’s why we’re proud to call them professionals. (Although, incidentally, many are also ex-doctors, psychologists, international sportsmen, lawyers and teachers too.)
Who’d have thought that how a baby is held in the water will influence their future swimming position? But it will.
How do you interpret the range of subtle signs your baby will use to communicate their feelings in the pool?
And a parent also needs gentle guidance and detailed explanations. Thus ensuring that, moving forward, you will become your baby’s best teacher.
It’s all this, and so much more, that our instructors are trained to show you.

Would you ever want to start watching a film half way through?
There’s a reason why our courses have a beginning, middle and carefully monitored progression. Because only then can your baby benefit from the meticulously constructed building blocks that will see them swimming by around thirty months. We have an individual lesson plan for every week of the course (190 in total). That’s a lot of technical preparation.
And one of the reasons why we’ve won four national awards – the first baby swimming company to do so.
Extraordinary Results
Seven of our Water Babies have saved themselves from drowning in the past twenty-four months. Utterly fantastic; especially when you consider that three of them were only two.
Or you might watch a bunch of three year olds launching into the pool, glorying in the confidence they enjoy in water. Not so dramatic - but equally inspiring.
